Emergency grants, via the Vicar’s Relief Fund, provide financial support to individuals who need to urgently find a place to live.
Designed to help someone secure a new home, these grants can transform a person’s circumstances within a matter of days. Because the inability to pay a rental deposit or other essential upfront costs shouldn’t prevent someone from having a safe place to live. Our grants help pay for the crucial expenses needed to unlock access to accommodation, such as deposits, emergency accommodation, ID, and removal costs.
That’s why our grants, of up to £500, are issued quickly via experienced frontline staff who work directly with the individuals, and who understand the urgent needs of those facing homelessness.
