St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity has a small staff team based in London.

These are the staff members who lead the different areas of our work. They are supported by a wider team based in London, who help us deliver everything from fundraising to frontline engagement.

Duncan Shrubsole, Chief Executive Officer
Duncan is Our CEO. He leads St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity in delivering our work to support frontline workers, enabling them to provide the best possible support to people experiencing homelessness through the VRF, the Frontline Network and the Frontline Fund. He also leads the team to deliver activities to raise funds for this vital work including the Annual BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal with St Martin-in-the-Fields.

Angela D’Souza, Chief of Staff
Angie is our Chief of Staff. She looks after our people function and has oversight of the general operations of the Charity. Before joining us she managed the business operations for an independent press regulator and was responsible for their corporate governance. She loves live theatre and entertaining family and friends with a good home-cooked feast!

Jane West, Director of Income & Engagement
Jane leads St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity’s fundraising programme across all its functions, including individual giving, legacies, philanthropy, and trusts & foundations. She joined St Martin’s after holding a senior role at Centrepoint, where she led the Individual Giving team. Much of her career has focused on supporting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and she is passionate about using fundraising to drive meaningful and lasting change. She is committed to growing and diversifying income at St Martin’s so as to deliver the greatest possible impact for the people and partners we support.

Nikki Wimborne, Head of Grants Development
Nikki is our Head of Grants. She manages the day-to-day running of our main grant programmes (the VRF and the Frontline Fund) and leads on the practical implementation of any new grant programmes. Nikki is an experienced Grants Manager with over twenty years voluntary sector experience. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking and new experiences.

Amanda Bennett, Partnerships and Participation Manager
Amanda is our Partnerships Manager. She manages the relationships with our ten Partners and organises our Annual Conference. She has previously worked in frontline roles, Fundraising, Project Management and International Development work in the UK and West Africa, as well as in the diving industry in Southeast Asia. Outside of work, she loves adding extra stamps in her passport, photography and leading an amphibious lifestyle.

Naomi Trenear, Partnerships and Participation Manager
Naomi is our Participation Officer. She develops resources for frontline workers and building relationships with frontline staff and organisations. This includes managing the Training Fund, as well as planning and organising our national conference. Before joining, she worked in frontline support roles in homelessness, substance misuse and mental health, and she is passionate about systems change and developing effective, psychologically informed ways of working.
